• Any electrical item left on stand-by wastes energy.  If you have stopped using it, turn it off at the wall.  This includes mobile phone chargers.
  • Consider whether you really need every light burning.  Try not to leave unattended TVs or music equipment running throughout the house.
  • Consider whether you really need more than one television.
  • Set your computer to go into sleep mode within 10-15 minutes.  Do not leave it on overnight or when you are not using it.
